Happy 7 years 🤍 every year gets better and better with you by my side. Embracing whatever the Lord has for us, wherever in the world He takes us. This marriage has now given us the gift of our children and parenting, which is so beautiful. Every bit of it is so much more beautiful and special with you as my partner, lover & friend. 6 years ago today we got married, and we were talking over our dinner about how our marriage is such a gift. It doesn’t feel like something we’ve managed to keep together or build, but a gift we’ve received from the Father of Lights. We’re two children waking up each day, getting to live in the reality of this gift. This is better than anything I had heard about and anything I could imagine. Crazy that the years to come are the best yet. I’m so thankful for you and the way you continually chose me every day, @victoriayarnell. I love you so much. 🤍

There’s something spiritual in these images.

I was trying to make images filled with natural texture, without an obvious focal point. There’s something about seeking to break down my overthinking and all the stress of “professional photography” that affects how I compose an image.

Amanda Cook said something like “your nervous system is holy ground.” When my nervous system reacts to image making in a way that’s not filled with peace, I know I’m not looking at the world as I should - as Holy Spirit does. taken in London, United Kingdom by @yarnell___
