A little introduction from behind the yarn ✨

Budapest is home for me now, but I actually grew up in a small village, so I think my love for nature has always been a part of me. 🌿

4 years since I started crocheting, and I still can’t believe how much this hobby has become a part of my life. 🧶

By day, I’m a speech therapist, mostly working with preschool and young school-age children — and I absolutely love what I do. 🫶🏻 When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me on the couch with a crochet hook in my hand (or a controller🤪🎮)

I also love being outdoors and the little things each season brings: the carefree feeling of summer, foggy autumn mornings, freshly fallen snow in winter and all the flowers blooming in spring. ☀️🍂❄️🌸

A little appreciation post for some crochet creators I really love following 🥰

We all have such different styles, but they all create absolutely beautiful work. I genuinely enjoy seeing their creations and content, and I’m so happy that I’ve even had the chance to be part of some of their tester call teams. It’s been such a lovely way to connect a little and get to know the people behind the patterns.

They all create beautiful, thoughtful and high-quality patterns, and I’ve had nothing but great experiences with them. 🧶✨

And just to clarify: the order is completely random! It’s not a ranking — these are simply five creators I’ve come across on social media whose work I really enjoy and would love to highlight. 🤍

Nobody talks enough about how much work goes into creating content.

The filming, different angles, lighting, editing, finding the right hook, keeping people interested… and sometimes getting in front of the camera even when you don’t feel your best.

And when you only have time to film on certain days, there’s this pressure to just do it.

Plus, it all slows down the actual crocheting. Every few rows: wait, I need to film this. 😅

It’s fun and I genuinely enjoy it, but it’s definitely more work than it looks from the outside. 🧶📱
