I travel to change the way I see.
A thread remains.
A shawl becomes its home…

POSTS STORIES REELS

A word to my friends, and patient seekers of the extraordinary.

Yaser Shaw is not a factory, nor does it aspire to become one. Its production remains deliberately small, exclusive, and uncompromising. Each year, only a limited number of shawls are born into the world. There are always voices asking for more, for greater numbers, for expansion. But some things are not meant to grow beyond their natural boundaries.
For more would mean less. Less attention, less precision, less soul. And eventually, less of what makes each shawl unique.
This is not the path I have chosen.
So, my friends, patience is a virtue worth cultivating. And when a Yaser Shaw finally finds its way into your hands, hold on to it. Treasure it. Let it accompany you through the years. For it is not merely a shawl you possess, but a small piece of an increasingly rare world.

Some things are better made few, and cherished forever.

Limited by perfection… @yasershawtextiles by @yasershawtextiles

When everything begins to look the same, originality becomes a luxury…

I search for it in colour.
In craftsmanship.
In tradition.
In the unexpected.

I don’t design to follow what is already there.
I design to create what I feel is missing.

The Eye is an old traveller. A quiet guardian, embroidered to watch over its wearer as they cross mountains, cities and unfamiliar places. It sees what we miss, remembers what we forget, and travels wherever the shawl goes. #handmade #embroidery @yasershawtextiles by @yasershawtextiles

Nazar → the gaze, attention, admiration. by @yasershawtextiles

We live in an age where following comes more easily than wondering. Few still pause long enough to observe, to trust an idea before it is accepted, or to see what others have yet to notice. Yet every lasting creation begins with someone who does.
