There she is, in the waiting room. Numbers flash by. Voices call out. Doors open and close. Everyone seems to have their turn. Except her.

Only to wait.

Wait to be called.
Wait to be examined.
Wait to be seen.

If I Had an Urn, I Would Try to Fit! is a performance that exposes the systemic neglect of women's health through one woman's endless wait. It places women's experiences, pain and medical dismissal centre stage. The audience becomes both witness and accomplice: waiting alongside her, and slowly confronting an uncomfortable question:

Whose pain do we believe, and whose pain do we ask to wait?

Two years ago I randomly posted a TikTok where I cleaned my dad’s business as he was retiring.

I genuinely thought maybe my 12 friends on the app would watch it.

Instead, the next morning my roommate knocked down my bedroom door because the video had blown up. Millions of views and thousands of followers overnight. Casual

Looking back, I felt completely lost and my life was… questionable. I had just quit the hospitality job I hated, I was days out of a 6-year relationship, had zero acting work lined up, felt very out of place in Amsterdam, and I couldn’t even afford a new phone 🙃

Never expected that one video would open the doors it did.

Because of this platform I’ve made lifelong friendships, I’ve been able to help people in desperate need for free, discovered a new creative obsession, and even landed international acting gigs.

I’ve always tried to keep my cleaning account a little private and hidden (which is quite impossible at this point) but then I wondered why?! I am actually so proud.

Wanneer de klachten ontbreken aan hun geliefde werkplek ‘De Klachtenlijn’ en er opeens een onbekende jongeman op de stoep staat, komt de vriendschap tussen Renske en Geertje op scherp te staan.

TVA Lab presenteert met trots haar eerste filmproductie:
‘De Klachtenlijn’ is een korte absurdistische film geschreven door actrices Yasmin Le Comte en Ovide van er Vlist in samenwerking met regisseur Vladimir Knechten. Dit debuut is samengebracht door Jori Hermsen en vormt het eerste project van collectief East West Thuis Best.
