I ran from London to Birmingham to prove you don’t need talent or a background to do something like this, you just need to decide and go all in. This wasn’t really about running, it was about building myself and showing that if you’re willing to suffer for it, you can get somewhere. I did it in a macawiis as well, representing where I’m from and raising awareness along the way.

But I won’t lie, this was very dark. Running in a macawiis, I got called a monkey, had the n word shouted at me, and was told to go back to my country. People were laughing, making monkey noises, cars were speeding dangerously close towards me, it felt like I wasn’t even seen as human. I spent hours alone running through the countryside, being chased by animals, stuck in my own thoughts. It got dark, very dark. But I kept going.

And I’m not done. This is only the beginning. I’m going to keep pushing my limits with bigger runs, tougher challenges, and projects that don’t even make sense yet. Because I’ve realised something, no matter how unrealistic your goal sounds, if you fully commit and give it everything you’ve got, you can make it happen.

I don’t think people understand what 200 kilometres actually feels like.

There were hours where I was completely alone. Not a single person in sight. Just me, my thoughts, and another mile to survive.

Every step hurt. My knees were giving up, my body was shutting down, and there were moments where I genuinely didn’t know if I was going to make it home.

But every time my mind told me to stop, I reminded myself why I started.

This was never about me.

It was about the families in Sudan who are fighting battles far greater than a few days of pain.

If you’ve supported me, made dua for me, shared the fundraiser or donated, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I genuinely couldn’t have done this without you.

If you haven’t donated yet, I’m asking you one last time. If you can spare anything at all, please help. This run was never about crossing a finish line it was about giving hope to people who need it most.
