💜🩷💛 WHY DOES THIS ALL MATTER? 💛🩷💜

I'm here practicing what I preach & that's being human in this space! Business isn’t all about selling… its about connection. I 1000% know its about community & you can’t build community when they know nothing about you.

These here are the 🔑 points of my life that made me the gal you've been talking to on the other side of the DMs 💛

Because I’ve been through some of the hardest things life has to offer…
I see life differently than most & I sure as heck, don't plan on trading off my time to work with people who aren’t a good fit for me or my business.

My business isn’t my identity, BUT it is founded on who I am as a person.

In short, I'm Yesselyn, the 27 year old, Jesus loving, military spouse, and mama to a mighty ball of fire with a story to tell & a heart to serve!

Who said you can't have both? 🤍

Somewhere along the way, a lot of us find ourselves juggling 🤹‍♀️

• Grow the business OR be present with the kiddos.

• Chase the big goals OR protect the quiet mornings with God.

This September I got to live the both. We made one more move, I said yes to my family in a big way, and my clients' launches still ran beautifully behind the scenes.

But I didn't manage to do that all alone. (If I did I would be missing some hair forsure 😅)

My village showed up. At home, that looked like my husband and my parents scooping up the kiddos so I could breathe. And in my business, it looked like systems and support that kept everything running while my life was in boxes.

That's the part nobody tells you. "Having both" isn't about doing it all yourself. It's about having a village that carries it with you.

A village isn't just for motherhood. It's for business too.

And that's exactly what I get to be for the coach mamas I work with. The person behind the scenes keeping your Kajabi running, so you can be fully present for the people in front of you.

You don't have to choose. You just need your village 💛

&& as a by product for rest, my business hit new goals, like look at the Lord 🙂‍↕️💛

I saw a post the other day that asked...

"Im a business coach who is wanting to grow and learn in her business, but I work full time. What should my first hire be?"

& a ton of people answered VA

but as a mom, former VA, and systems forward kind of gal I had a different answer bc you dont need another person to manage right off the bat 😅

If im being honest, business often feels heavy, not because youre doing anything wrong in business but bc EVERYTHING ELSE feels heavy.

The dishes. The laundry. The floors that need to get mopped. The kids toys that need to get picked up. The dogs that need to be groomed.

All while youre trying to run your business...

So if you can hire, hire in your home first to actually build a foundation that builds capacity and sustainability in your business.

Then hire the coach, the systems, then the VA
(Depending on how well your current strategy is working - I may or may not tell you to hire the coach asap)

⛲️ Second, Kajabi is a system that should be doing the heavy lifting

if its not we should talk bc I can spend time in your Kajabi Site and immediately see where we can

create a better client experience,
get more eyes on your offers,
reduce your tech stack,
implement features you arent using (& should be)

Based on your business goals, offers, and marketing 👌

⛲️ Third, Jesus is my everything so He is my answer to everything 🤷‍♀️

When life gets hard, Jesus.
When life is breezy, Jesus.

My life did not go according to my plan.

Thank the Lord it didnt.

The life plan was a little like this :

~ Graduate with Honors with my finance degree (which I did thank you very much)
~ Do financial advising from an office until the end of time...
~ Maybe, just maybe start a family somewhere along the way

That was until I hopped on a plane to South Korea before my final semester in college,
met the love of my life,
encountered Christ,

& His plan changed the trajectory of my entire life.
Definitely not one I could have planned for myself.

There is more lore there 🍵
(Obvs but Im saving that for my peeps on my newsletter 👀 lol)

But every little thread lead me here
to this space where I get to show up,
serve the best people with my type A Tech Skills,
be present with my girls,
and never have to worry about putting pto or having to wear another dreaded blazer to work ever again!
(Pjs are life seriously) ✌️

As a former finance gal, I can tell you this....

Data tells a story if you know what data actually moves the needle!

Lets get right into it:

⛲️ A/B Testing

Wanna hone in on your messaging and let your audience tell you what they are loving?

Im sure the answer is duh Jess.
Well, this is your chance!

A/B testing is a way to experiment & see what is getting your community to engage, click, buy, & stay

⛲️ Full Funnel data

Data for a singular landing page is dandy, but look at the BIGGER PICTURE of how people are flowing through your world

Are they converting in later steps?
Is the funnel making revenue at all?
Is your sales page enough to get them saying heck yes or are they needing more nurturing through your email sequence or upsell?

You can't optimize what you dont know 🤷‍♀️

My Ad & social media gals are gonna love me for this one,

But you cant expect ads and your content to convert with a broken funnel.

⛲️ DEEP Video Analytics

"Jess, Im a coach. Why would I care about deep video stats? Im providing value with having videos there to begin with. "

True, but here is my honest answer, as someone who has supported coaches scaling from 1:1 to 1 to many through courses and masterminds

More doesnt always mean better, especially with content.

With the right set of eyes youll be able to see what your already committed members are loving, what they could do without & that makes transformation for your offer that much quicker 😉

Memorial Day is for them.

Like many, motherhood changed the trajectory of my entire life.

Things I thought I wanted - I no longer desired.

Things I used to spend time on - no longer felt worthy of my attention.

Things that take up too much time - now got filtered past "does this take me away from my kids"

& its come with its handful of HARD,

but having other women and mamas in my corner and village made all the difference 🥹

Happy Mother's Day to all the mommas out there 💛

If your backend is running you and constantly whispering for your attention, something is gonna give.

And it's not gonna be your tech 😭

You didn't build this business to spend nap time in Kajabi.

You didn't build it to Google your way through what ends up being a three hour fix when I, your favorite Kajabi gal, can do it in one. 💁‍♀️

You built it to:

⛲ Close your laptop at 1pm on a random Tuesday because you refuse to recreate the corporate schedule you left
⛲ Be present with your littles this summer when school is out
⛲ Stay front and center on Zoom teaching your students and clients, fully in it, fully alive in the work you were made for
⛲ Show up at your kids' games, your family dinners, your slow mornings, with your whole heart

The places where you make the most impact, in your business and in your life, deserve all of you.
