Have you ever wanted to try to compost your food scraps and yard waste? Did you know there are different methods of composting? This Thursday Yahezequiel Walker will present “Composting Made easy”. You will learn different methods of composting and answer any questions.

Yazi is trained in regenerative farming with the title of Soilsmith. He is a co-director of the Triiibe Sankofa Garden formally in the West End and now in Madisonville. He volunteers to teach compost to school groups at the civic garden center along with being on the North College Hill Arbor board. Yazi is simply passionate about nature and loves sharing his knowledge in an easy and fun way.

One method that Yazi enjoys is Bokashi Composting. This method uses an inncoluated grain, that breaks downs organic matter at an accelerated rate. Learn how to compost meats, oils, cheeses, leftovers and all the things they say you can’t compost.

Doors will open at 5:30 PM. We will have drinks available for purchase. Program will start at 6:00 PM sharp. taken in White Oak Coffee House by @yazi13

My friend @yazi13 taught us how to bring soil back to life. 🫶🏾🌱This session of Land School was SO empowering. HOLY IMO

This collection was brought to you by myself and @hans_miller7

Hannah tapped in with the family member @grannygruntsgarden extremely helpful video on how to build IMO boxes, and made 7 boxes out of cedar fence posts

We only had time to prep 3 of the boxes, and we SENT IT

We found 3 spots with signs of healthy fungal dominance, and placed the boxes on them

This box is actually the spot Hannah scoped out

This is her first collection, and it was a success

This process is not easy to learn, so having success on the first try is very impressive

Doing Natural farming with my partner is nourishing in a way that I didn't know was possible
