Today’s session wasn’t easy... and that’s exactly the point.

Max was pushed outside his comfort zone today, but he never backed down. We locked in on staying balanced, keeping our eyes up to read the floor, making quick changes of direction, and finishing through multiple game-like scenarios around the rim. Every rep demanded focus, discipline, and toughness.

There were moments when fatigue set in, but he kept showing up, rep after rep. That’s where real growth happens—not when it’s easy, but when you choose to keep going.

The work is being put in. The confidence is being built. One workout at a time. 📈

Sniper Mode 🔭🏀

Confidence and aggressiveness are two things I think most kids struggle with on the court.

It’s not built overnight. It takes time, and I’m speaking from personal experience. Put your kids around the right people and have positive conversations with them before and after games.

Don’t just tell them to score points. Tell them to have fun, learn from their mistakes, and give it their all.

Some games will be bad, and some games will be good. Flashing out won’t help. Keep them in the lab working on their craft.

Discipline on the court should transfer to discipline in the real world outside of sports 💯

Confidence loading…

I was glad to see Silas finally taking some shots instead of always passing the ball. He’s such an unselfish player that he’ll pass it before he shoots it, even though he’s a sniper most of the time.

It feels good to see that confidence starting to build.

After a full practice Silas shot over 300 shots total from each of the shooting zones Friday evening the day before game day in Nola at @iplayinternational

Preparation is 🔑 No complaining just werk. @tyrusthomas we listening bro 🙏🏾❤️

Parents, when you’re investing in your kids, remember this ➡️ it takes patience, repetition, and consistency.

My first time seeing an 9th grader play with so much athleticism!

I watched this kid @taee___23 play this weekend in Youngsville La and few weeks ago at Scotlandville high school for the Steppin For Autism Basketball Tournament. He has a bright future! 🚀💯
