From the ground up⚒️ There is nothing quite like the framing stage. This is where the blue prints finally lift off the page, and the true scale and layout of the project comes to life. It takes a lot of sawdust, precise math, and a killer crew to get the walls standing straight and true. Site visit #ProjectLakeofBays. And the lake view😍 #constructionlife #underconstruction #woodframing #framingstage by @ycc.design
Clearing my mom’s attic today and came across photo’s I had completely forgotten all about! These taken around 1992 and world has come full circle as I started modeling again in my 50’s… my other side hustle these days. #memories #backintheday #makesmehappy #modelslife by @ycc.design

Happy to share #projecthudson featured in House & Home Kitchen+ Baths issue Fall/Winter 2026. Available on the stands now and also on line. Link in bio. Celebrating a modern Maximalist space drenched in colour and layered with natural materials. A once drab room now one of the favourite rooms in the clients home and a joy to start each day. In addition to the wonderful clients who allowed me to run with a very colourful, rich pallet, working with the talented @silverbirchbuilds team -always a pleasure. This one’s for YOU mom! On June 23rd I lost my mom, my biggest supporter💔 Mom championed me always! She would carry the most recent magazine or newspaper I had been published in; sharing each and every one of these with all of her friends and sometimes even complete strangers. She was always up to date on all of the projects and remembered each and every detail. The truth is I felt a little lost opening up the magazine to see YCC Design Interiors featured in this edition. Mom was always the first person I would call to share the news. 🥲 I know she would be proud and SO excited for me, and would ask when she could have her copy so she could show all of her friends. I will trust and hold in my heart mom is looking down on me and will be with me for the rest of my journey. “ I’ll make you proud Mom”! Thank you @houseandhome for choosing my work and your continued support. 📸@donnagriffith Styling:@the.property.stylist ⚒️@silverbirchbuilds @productivepigeondesigns #torontodesigner #principalbathroom #YYCDesignInteriors #torontobeachhome by @ycc.design

Thank you @renoanddecor for featuring us in this Feb/March issue! For years the design world has been enamoured with minimalism—a philosophy of restraint, neutrality, and simplicity. Sleek, white-interiors celebrating the idea that “less is more.” Our clients #ProjectHudson fully embraced a Modern Maximalism ideology which encourages depth, personality and a curated extravagance .We achieved a fine balance between drama and refinement - where rich textures , expressive prints and striking colours were harmonized with thoughtful compositions and timeless elements. Available now online(link in profile) and on newsstands!! More of this home to come😊 but you’ll need to wait for a bit! Can’t wait to share! . . . 📸@donnagriffith 🛠️@silverbirchbuilds Styling: @the.property.stylist Millwork: @thorncrest_kitchens #torontointeriors #torontobeachhome #colour #modernmaximilism by @ycc.design
When the client trusts the process…beautiful things happen! Cosy by the fire #ProjectHerbert. Woke up in the mood for colour as we ease into the weekend! Our clients #Projectjerbert fully embraced a Modern Maximalism ideology which encourages depth, personality and a curated extravagance . Every transformation tells a story. The power of a refresh and re-do. By adding 15’ feet to the back of this home we were able to provide a much larger kitchen layout with a place for everything and a perch for everyone in the family… even wee Teddy the families beagle. I would say Teddy approves his new comfy bench! From a very small cramped kitchen to a bright, open space that invites connection- this redesign truly redefined the heart of the home. We opened walls, layered warm materials and created a kitchen that is hard working and beautiful! #ProjectHerbert . . . 📸@donnagriffith Styling:@the.property.stylist ⚒️@silverbirchbuilds Millwork: @thorncrest_kitchens #torontodesigner #torontobeachhome #kitchendreams #kitchengoals #reimagethehome #somuchcolour #layers #newkitchen #dreaminteriors #homerenovations #canadabased #customcabinetry #homedesign #interiorstyling #yccdesigninteriors by @ycc.design
As we enter a new year I feel there will be a shift towards deeper moody colours moving beyond bright white. Soulful colours such as rich forest greens. The conversations we are having with clients, the way people are choosing to live suggests a shift towards comfort, character, and individuality. White kitchens are safe and have their place, but seldom are rooms you remember. What I’m seeing is a return to homes with identity; spaces that feel lived in and personal. #ProjectKingsmount . . . 📸@arnalphotography ⚒️@silverbirchbuilds #kitchengoals #kitchenremodel #kitchen #kitchenstyling #interiordesign #designgoals #torontobeachdesigner #homereno #renovation #renovating #2026goals #newyear #canadabased by @ycc.design
