Every engineer knows the red light. When it’s on, nobody comes in — and nobody sees what happened in there. Only the record comes out.

Today we opened that door for about an hr.

Most people expect stories about skill. We told the stories about everything else that made the skill matter.

More to come with @davidyunginkim 🎙️

Meet the engineers shaping the sound behind the music. 🎛️🔊

David Yungin Kim and David Younghyun Kim join us at AIMFEST 2026 to talk about their craft, creative process, and experiences working with artists including Nas, Hit-Boy, NewJeans, and LE SSERAFIM.

Beyond mixing and making records, the two Davids will get into the real experiences, perspectives, and conversations that come with life behind the board.

The panel will also serve as a first look at DnD (Do Not Disturb), a new podcast concept the two have been developing — bringing some of that same open, unfiltered conversation about music and the engineer’s life to the AIMFEST stage. 🎙️

I’ve been working on records from New York/LA my whole career. The last year, more and more of the work I love most has been pulling me to Seoul.

So next week, I’m bringing it here in person.
Seoul Sessions — a Masterclass + a small group of 1:1s.
Songwriting → Production → Mixing. Real workflow. Real conversations. The stuff you don’t get from a YouTube tutorial.
If you’re in Seoul and you take your craft seriously — this one’s for you.

Limited spots. Link in bio.

Happy 30th.

My 20s were full — no regrets, only gratitude.
Every day felt like a gift,
and I was given more than I ever asked for.

I wonder what I dreamed of ten years ago.
Anyone else curious?

Now it’s time to dream again.
