Casa Suna is the short architectural documentary created for @ydr.estudio’s presentation at La Biennale of Architecture in Venice Italy.

This short architectural documentary focuses on the distinctive architecture of Yolanda De Rueda’s “Casa Suna”, revealing the intricate details of its design. Our film portrays the natural beauty and structural elegance of the property. The goal is to immerse the viewer with a sense of realism through image and sound, and further illuminate the connection between the home and surrounding desertic nature.

With the Venice Biennale of Architecture 2025 entering its final stretch before the closing ceremonies on November 23, we reflect on the honor of participating alongside such a remarkable group of architects and designers at Time Space Existence 2025 in Palazzo Mora.

Exhibiting Casa Suna, a beach house designed by YDR Estudio, has been a meaningful opportunity to share our vision of architecture that embraces landscape, craftsmanship, and the essence of living connected to nature.

Many thanks to the European Cultural Centre for this inspiring platform, to @casasuna_mx for sponsoring the exhibition, and to @gdr_productions and their talented team for making possible the video showcased at the exhibition. And to all of you that made it possible. by @ydr.estudio

We are proud to be part of the "Mirada Corta Film Festival".

Not only to be part of the official selection but to be semi-finalist. Our immersive architectural documentary portrays the beauty and sound of life at Casa Suna. The short documentary is part of the booth that @ydr.estudio is proudly showing until the end of the year at La Biennale of Architecture in Venice Italy.

We'd like to thank the crew that made this possible. @geraderueda @priscinemaa @soyjorgevillarreal @marcos1y2

We’re beyond excited to share that our work will be part of Time Space Existence 2025 at the Venice Architecture Biennale!

Opening May 9, the exhibition brings together over 200 designers and architects from 50+ countries to explore how we can rethink, repair, and reimagine space.

Come visit us in Venice—from May 10 to November 23—at Palazzo Mora, Palazzo Bembo, and Giardini della Marinaressa.

Huge thanks to the European Cultural Centre for making this possible!
