I was very chuffed when one of my favourite Southwest artists @lesliedkingmusic asked me to give him a hand booking his shows! So we've gone and done this.

Dude's an absolute powerhouse - think Joe Cocker, Nathaniel Ratecliff, Teskey Brothers but right outta Cobden. Good old fashioned soulful country-blues and with a full band it's next fucking level 🤯

His band played the very first @downsouthpf fest in '22 and been a huge fan ever since. Well actually my Mum @annettemcd8 is a bigger fan.

Me and Les are both new fathers still tryna juggle the music hustle and you know how that goes, so come support the cause and grab a ticket! New tunes are phenomenal, you won't be disappointed 🎶

Tickets over at his bio.. yew taken in Cobden, Victoria by @yeahnahhh_

Blacken Forever is a nationwide celebration of music and solidarity, uniting Australia’s heavy metal community to Save The Black Wreath. From the biggest cities to the heart of the Dead Centre, concerts will erupt simultaneously across the country. Over thirty of Australia’s heaviest bands will take the stage across six cities on the final day of the crowdfunding campaign, creating a national wall of noise and determination.

It would be a tragedy for The Tote to not support the wonderful crew at Blacken who were inspired by our very own "Save The Tote" campaign, and unfortunately we didn't have the date available when they wanted us to be involved. So we thought fuck it lets host ours the night before and call it BLACKEN FOREVER EVE.

AND we've partnered with Morbid Mondays (our good friends at the old bar) on this line-up curation that will showcase some of the finest acts across genres to represent the true music underground

The concept is the same - 100% of proceeds (including booking fees) donated to the cause and straight into the pozible account. PAY WHAT YOU FEEL, $5, $10, $15, $20 and so on...
SEEYA THERE

Blacken Forever proves this movement is bigger than the Dead Centre of Australia. The Black Wreath is a heavy metal institution, and this community will stand together and refuse to let it go without a fight!

LINEUP: Uncle Geezer, Kristol Pisstol, Lily of The Valley, Blight, Swallower, Your Mothers Disgusting Window

The Berzerker return to where it all began.

After 17 years away, Australia’s most uncompromising industrial death-metal force is coming back for one exclusive, brutally intimate show at The Tote in Collingwood — the tiny Melbourne room where the chaos first took shape.

Expect extreme volume, total sensory overload, and a once-in-a-lifetime collision of blastbeats, electronics, violence, and pure Berzerker insanity. No comeback tour. No warm-up dates. One night only, in the venue that helped start it all.

The Berzerker — back at The Tote on a Tuesday Night. One show. No survivors. taken in The Tote by @yeahnahhh_
