Humbled to announce that I’ll be teaching @thebluedevils battery this upcoming summer! If you told 16 year old Nate that he’d be teaching the Blue Devils he would have laughed in your face… never did I even think this was in the realm of possibility for me, and I’m so excited to put my all into the membership and legacy of this organization. On top of that, I get to do this with some of my best friends, and some LEGENDS. I want to thank the legends @scottj_scojo @ben_maughmer and @rodolfotron for being so welcoming. I also want to thank @john.mapes for bringing me in, this is gonna be quite the ride. Let’s go!!! by @yeahnate__

First year in front of @pulsepercussion ✅ It’s a bit weird to think about, but my rookie year as a staff member for Pulse is done! I’ve been around the organization for so long that it felt like a homecoming and a brand new experience all at once. So honored to stand in front of such amazing musicians and to see so many former students again in this context. Working with the @pulsequadline was such a pleasure. We’ve started a shift in approach and man did it pay off. Thank you to the PQ5 Bois for trusting us and always keeping the vibe calm and focused. Favorite quad line I’ve worked with so far. @kiichi_okumura @j.l.e.u.n.g @matthew_bradley9283 @idtakaya The best part was working with such an incredibly devoted and talented staff. Every single person that was in front of the members deserves their own award, what an incredible environment to get better in for members and staff alike. I especially want to shout out my partner in crime @yasuduh. Connor makes Pulse what it is and he doesn’t get nearly enough recognition for it. A true professional. Thankful to be back home, and ready for round 2. Thank you Pulse. #432 taken in Home by @yeahnate__

We lost a bright light yesterday morning, Granny went home. The only grandparent I’ve really known. Such a passionate woman who fiercely believed in her family. She frequently made sure that I knew how much she believed in me, even flew out to watch me age out. I’m happy she’s no longer in pain, and grateful for the life she led. I’ll miss her stories and lessons of strength. Rest easy now, and in power, Queen. You are loved. by @yeahnate__

Been juggling a lot of drum corps and summer band, but loving my job! It’s been nice to get a lot of different perspectives and experiences in a short amount of time, feel like I’m relearning how to ride the bike in a way. Very thankful for the opportunities that I’ve had and the ones to come! Now here’s some Blue Stars quads for your day. taken in Dubuque, Iowa by @yeahnate__
