After 15 incredible years in Hackney we have, with much sadness, closed the doors to the bakery for the final time.

It’s difficult to put into words what this place — and all of you — have meant to us. What began as a bakery became so much more. Over the years, so many of our customers became familiar faces, then friends, and ultimately a very special part of our lives.

We have watched families grow, shared countless conversations, celebrated good days, comforted each other through difficult ones, and become part of a community that has given us far more than we could ever have hoped for.

To everyone who walked through our doors, bought a pastry, stopped for a coffee, shared a smile, recommended us to a friend, or simply supported us over the years — thank you. From the bottom of our hearts.

It has been an extraordinary privilege to call Hackney home for the past 15 years, and we will carry the memories, friendships and love with us.

Closing the bakery is emotional, but we want you to know that this is not the end.

It’s simply the end of one chapter.

And we’re very excited to see what comes next.
