Now, the game is euchre. Begin by separating the nines, tens, face cards, and aces from the rest of the deck. The goal is to win at least three tricks. Now, if the side that picks the trump fails to get three tricks, it is said to be euchre. The highest trump is the jack of the trump suit, called the right bower. Partnership making trump wins three or four tricks and earns one point. Lonehand wins three or four tricks, also earns one point. However, a lonehand wins five tricks, that’s worth four points. Every sport, every weekend, every memory, every friend I’ve made since June 28, 2021 would not be the same if I had not chosen to be honest about who I am.
