Yesterday I got to share my birthday with one of the most important guys in my life. Cosmo turned 10!! Many of you know I adopted Cosmo when he was just 8 weeks old. I applied to the rescue group @k9angelsrescuehouston and they approved me. I get there, tell them my name, for them to tell me he’d already been adopted out. Luckily for me when I pronounced my name they didnt realize how it was spelt so the adoptee was ME! And he’s been by my side ever since. I was a young 24 year old feeling lost and lonely until I got you. And I always say I didn’t rescue him, he rescued me.
That’s nearly 10 years I’ve spent with my best friend. From many moves, friendships, heartbreaks, laughters, tears, long walks, traveling, getting a new baby kitty sister, meeting my forever partner and getting a dad (yay!), he’s been through most of my adulthood life with me. I am forever lucky to be able to celebrate my birthday with you and I pray I get 10 more years. Love you Cosmo <3 #dog #womansbestfriend #adoptdontshop #happybirthday
PS: thanks David for gettting me a cam for my bday and recording a memory I’ll forever cherish 💚 by @yeimirios
