NEW RELEASE: LB Papillon is available now on lam-bao.com

Evolving from its past life as Monarch Display (2018), Papillon is a visualization of the voice I’ve been chasing for nearly a decade. Its unapologetically cold, sharp details play against soft, fluid calligraphic forms, and a full set of italic swashes arms Papillon its wings.

An adaptive set of capital ligatures breathes another life into Papillon. Its capitals shapeshift based on their neighbours, letting you build almost endless compositions.

The family comes in 12 styles, 6 weights in Roman & Italic, is the first act of Aethereal Typography collection and YTF RED project. by @yellow.type

After 6+ years operating in stealth mode, Yellow Type Foundry now finally enters our first phase of operation with limited-access for selected projects & collaborators. We will soon launch our Retail Collection No.1 by the end of 2024.
