It's always a challenge to find the perfect pumpkin for this urn. It needs to be a big one, flat but not too flat, have a stem....and well kinda perfect! We didn't do too bad this year, but alas we are always trying to top the one in the last square. It truly was the perfect one! We have had the most beautiful early fall days this past week.....perfect! Have a great last week of September 🧡 by @yellowdoglane

I was finally motivated to do some fall decor....I think it was the wreath. I've wanted one like this since I first spied one in a magazine I'm thinking, probably a couple years or more ago. I decided to waller out into the swale with my knee boots on and cut the grass needed and then, just winged it from there! Whatcha think? Hope you've all had a great weekend 🍁🧡🍁 by @yellowdoglane

I've been on the lookout for a big ole concrete sheep for forever....and I found her! If you know me you know I name everything that has a place in my heart, and that's where she landed when I seen her. I knew real soon what her name would be. Let me introduce you to Agnes or Aggie as I like to call her. I usually choose a name that belonged to someone I carry in my heart....Aggie was my Mom's life long best friend. Always there when needed, the voice of reason and a steady presence in my life. Aggie has been gone many years now, I think of her often and visit the sweet memories I have of her....and now when I'm puttering in the GreenHouse garden we chat, well...I chat and I think sometimes I hear a faint voice in answer and I'd know that voice anywhere....and she had the best laugh ever ❤️ by @yellowdoglane

The light you left behind in those you touched shines a bit brighter on this special day. Today we won't be sad, instead we will feel blessed for the 28 birthdays we had with you. It's been a spell since I've checked in.... Our harvest has been plentiful in the strawberry patch and I've been pickin', hulling, rinsing, freezing, baking.... well, you get where I'm going, or should I say where I've been! It's not a big patch but it's giving big this year and they're tasty to boot. First square a favorite piece of watermelon stone fruit gifted me years back by a dear friend shown with the first picking. Swipe to see the rest, so far... Received my newest candle from @novawick_co and let me tell you about it.....not only is the holder downright beautiful, the scent of the candle is heavenly! Juicy cherry, blue raspberry and sweet citrus scented candle in a patriotic mercury glass holder, what's not to like! Highly recommend purchasing one before they're gone.... ♥️🤍💙 by @yellowdoglane

Touches of red, white and blue....getting dressed for the holiday! The gardens aren't at their prettiest stage yet, a bit early and it's been chilly until the last few days. Any big plans for the weekend? We'll just be hanging out on the Lane....enjoying! ♥️🤍💙 by @yellowdoglane
