I don’t even know what species this cactus is, my sister gave it to me last winter and I was beginning to wonder if it would ever grow when it surprised me with a beautiful white flower. #mysterycactus #cactusflower #surprise by @yellowopuntia

Last summer a friend of mine who is also a gardener asked if I would be willing to help a client of hers with her orchid cactus. It was 25 years old, had sentimental value, and was in decline. I accepted. It was obvious what the issue was, the soil/ planter were not suitable for the plants needs. I repotted it for her and she has since thanked me for the plants rebound. To thank me at the time I was given this cutting. To my amazement it has produced this flower. I hope it will be the first of many. #orchidcactus #orchidcactusflower #succulentpropagation #rebound by @yellowopuntia
