October brings a little mystery into the living room. 🎭🪔

For our next Sebuleni, we return to our home at @groove33ke on Sunday, 25 October, inviting familiar souls and new faces into a rather different kind of gathering.

This time, we welcome the playful, the peculiar, the beautifully strange and everyone willing to explore another expression of themselves.

Our newly refurbished living room takes on a Halloween character, with thoughtful touches across the atmosphere, cocktails, food, photography and decor.

Come dressed in your most imaginative Halloween-inspired look, and become part of the story the room tells.

Midleman, Vala, Yellow Rasta, The House Chef and DennKev will be our sonic curators on the decks, guiding us through the healing frequencies of Deep House, with excursions into Broken Beat and Rare Grooves.

An unhurried journey through rhythm, memory and feeling, where the music remains our common language and the people give the room its soul.

We’re keeping this gathering especially intimate, welcoming just 70 guests into an evening of listening, dancing, laughter, connection and a little beautiful mischief.

Come as someone else, if you wish. Leave feeling a little more like yourself.

SEBULENI — SPOOKY SEASON EDITION 🕯️

Sunday, 25 October 2026
Groove 33, Westlands, Nairobi

Advance: KES 500 | Gate: KES 1,000
Tickets via Mookh — link in bio.
Dress code: Halloween-inspired. Come expressive.

A living room for Deep House, listening culture and community.

Stay present. Listen deeply. 🪔

3 YEARS OF SUNSET GROOVING ♥️

If we’re being real, this has been our toughest year yet. There were MOMENTS. Where it felt harder than it should. Moments that tested what we are building, whether we should keep going. But you people kept showing up. And that kept us believing that no matter how difficult it gets, there’s a Sunset at the end.

You were right 🙂 Introducing our Headliner, the undisputed Queen of deep-house; @rosetta_d33p.

From coming up through the Godfathers of Deep house lineage, to sharing a stage with Black coffee, to building the most-listened-to deep house platform on the continent. Rosetta is one of the defining names in the sound we love - and the most beautiful sunset to our year 🌅

🗓️ Saturday 5th December.

Exactly nine days ago, I celebrated quite a significant birthday.

I didn’t get to celebrate it the way I thought I would, but that’s just the thing about life… it can be surprising.

What makes surprises special though, is that they can be beautiful. So all I can say during this momentous season of my life is:

💫 I hope you find your way into beautiful surprises wrapped up in love.
💫 I hope you find the strength to continue choosing yourself constantly without fear.
💫 I hope the things and people that you seek, find you.
💫 I hope you keep celebrating yourself each day.
💫 I hope you find a community of people who make you laugh freely and loudly.
💫 I hope you heal from the things you find difficult to share.
💫 I hope you’re surrounded by care and consideration.
💫 I hope you find the courage to know that sometimes, letting go is necessary to create space for what is truly important to your happiness.
💫 I hope you find people who see you and truly get you, just as you do them. 💛

A new day, a new week, a new moon, a new season.

I am excited for the possibilities and filled with extreme gratitude for the lessons, big and small, that led me back to myself.
I will keep celebrating myself…on my birthday, today, and always.

Remember darling, you’re a star! Keep shining! 🌟

Grown and Sexy.

Cheers! 🥂🥂💛

PS: I just might be back to my modeling era😅

Special thanks to the super talented @oderavisuals for capturing me @naja.nbo this past Saturday.🌼✨

All accessories are from @buckethatske you can get yours too. 💛

For her first mix as a resident, we built our own sunset from scratch. Using colored lights, shadows and visual cues courtesy of @thehalostudio_, turning a studio into the perfect sunset.

If your Sunday schedule involves anything more strenuous than barefoot roots reggae, cancel ❌

@yellowrastar_ is taking over the booth for #SRS, spinning heavy roots and lovers rock. 🇯🇲🌴

The kitchen is sending out fresh plates all afternoon, the bar team has plenty of punch flowing on tap, and the ocean handles the rest.

Come straight off the water, being the crew, and settle in barefoot. 👣

Entry is completely free, so get down early to claim a wooden bench before the shade fills up.

When the last record drops at 6, drift over to @saltys.on.the.creek for the golden-hour turn, or head down to Bofa Road to @saltandsmoke.ke when the coals flare up for dinner.

This Wednesday, we’re doing things a likkle different 👀

At The Sundowner Society, we’ve been fans of @destinconrad’s discography and his refusal to stay in one lane. From the Grammy-nominated R&B projects like LOVE ON DIGITAL and SUBMISSIVE to the experimental, jazz-leaning wHIMSY! album? a generational run 🙂‍↕️🔥 that fluidity and creativity is something we deeply appreciate and would love to share with our community here at The Sundowner Society 🤎

So at exactly 10PM, we’re pressing play on @destinconrad latest reggae/dancehall/ RnB-infused album ROADRUNNER and listening from beginning to end. Come ready to whine and feel a little sexy 🍷

Before and after that, sweet R&B + reggae sets from
@selekta__v + @yellowrastar_ 🪩

Doors open by 6pm Come early; have dinner, try our TSS table talk cards and enjoy the delectable sounds throughout the night 🥂

📍 Chronos, Lavington
🕙 7pm-midnight (album listening session at 10pm)

P.S. This is an unofficial fan listening party. The Sundowner Society is not affiliated with or representing Destin Conrad or his team, we’re simply fans celebrating the music 🤎
