It is finished. My first full marathon and world major is officially in books. Thank you to everyone who donated in support of @teamforkids with @nyrr !! By supporting my journey, you planted a seed for the next generation.

Although I had a few hard stops on the course due to severe leg cramps, every mile had a purpose: running against postpartum. I’m still in awe that I had the opportunity to run and walk the streets of Sydney Australia. None of this would be possible without my supportive husband who stayed back to watch our 8mth old son and made sure our daughter started her sophomore year of college on a good note. I’m grateful and blessed beyond measure. Thank you all for the support.💖

It’s only fitting to pose in front of the course map you’re running in less than 24hrs. 👀

My name is etched in Sydney Australia and is now part of a World Marathon Major.

To learn more about the story behind the design of this medal and its tribute to the culture, history, and legacy of Australia’s First Nations peoples, makes receiving this beautiful medal even more meaningful. Can’t wait to meet you at the finish line.

So I did a thing: I gave birth 4 1/2 months ago, and 2wks ago, I ran my first half marathon. That’s one hell of a comeback and, dare I say an incredible accomplishment.
