What an amazing Felabration for the books! The rain did not stop the people and x14 musicians on the smaller inside stage @central.machine.works. It became at times a spiritual experience..hypnotic..pulsating rhythms...of sweat lodge proportions and everyone was there for it. Such beautiful thing to be a part of. Props to all the band @hardproof @canyoukalu backing vocalists @akinaadderley @adoubler7 and myself. Thanks to all the kind staff at @central.machine.works for making the transition inside seamless. Thanks to @felakutiofficial for his transcendent music that still bringing people together and to all those who came out. Let's do it again!!! 🔥✨🙌🏻🙌🏼🙌🏽🙌🏾🙌🏿🎷🌍🎶

2025 was a good one even when the news said it wasn’t. Im so lucky to have a life full of love and filled with joy. Not everyday is a good one, but I’ll focus on the happy moments. I hope your 2026 is fantastic! * Mexico, Scotland/England, meeting a legend, recording original music, performing music with friends, road trips, building saunas, austin fc, a solid partner, staying silly and watching my daughter grow up. Annual music pilgrimage - amazing sets by @tomskinnermusic & @makayamccraven in Chicago the other day. Both groups promoting new releases on @intlanthem and the performances were transcending! Got over to the Art Institute as well to soak up some masterpieces. by @yerfnosaj

Whirlwind UK trip was a total success: Manchester (at the same time as the Oasis reunion, town shut down for them), football museum, Lake District Ambleside, loads of hikes and snacking on wild raspberries, boat rides, castles, Peter rabbit and grasmere ginger bread, ate loads of good food, museums, Edinburgh Scotland was particularly fantastic. taken in Lake District by @yerfnosaj

Surprised and honored to be up for best Horns in the @austinchronicle music poll this year. In a town with a zillion great musicians, it’s very nice to be recognized as one of them. Big thanks to Joe Woullard, OG @hardproof, for pushing me to be a better sax player and never ending support. Paul Deemer for raising the bar and coming into a crazy family and rolling with it. Mike St. Clair for playing everything and being down to play anything. Sam Howden for jumping in to slay whenever he’s called on to sub…with all that said, If you’re voting for best horns this year, think of us when you do. ❤️A❤️T❤️X❤️ taken in Austin, Texas by @yerfnosaj

Had a wonderful time at @publicrecordsnyc watching @sml.band last night. I haven’t resonated with a band like this in a long time. Their album Small Medium Large was one of my favorites of 24’. Great players/listeners improvising at this level is so rewarding to watch unfold. Super inspirational! taken in public records by @yerfnosaj
