Join Prop B this week for a series of lit drops to spread the word about a Public Bank in SF. RSVP at the link in our bio!

On Wednesday, 10/14, we'll be at Hummingbird Farm in the Excelsior with PODER @poder.sf at 4 pm.

On Saturday, 10/17, we'll be at Alamo Square Park with No on D @sfnoond and Yes on I @sfguaranteeact at 11 am.

On Sunday, 10/18, we'll be at the Upper Noe Rec Center at 11 am.

Also on Sunday, 10/18, the Progressive School Board Candidates: Reina Tello @reina4boe , Ryan Hazelton @hazeltonryan, and Virginia Cheung @virginiac_49 are hosting a joint lit drop at Excelsior Playground at 10 am. by @yesonpropb

We need your help volunteering to pass a public bank! It’s all hands on deck to get the word out about #sanfrancisco Prop B. This is our chance to create a Public Bank that would take our money back from big #wallstreet banks. Money that could be invested in #housing #greenenergy and small businesses. Our money should work for us.

Three weeks out from election day and our field volunteers are still hard at work canvassing merchant corridors and putting up Yes on B signs! Hopefully there are some near you.

Thank you to all of our volunteers who showed up on Sunday to lit drop in the Excelsior for Prop B.

And a special thanks to supervisor @myrnamelgard7 and Excelsior Strong for speaking up for our vision of San Francisco that puts people over profit!
Supervisor Melgar expounded on the amazing opportunity the city has to take control of its finances, Excelsior Strong President Bruce Colville drove home how important public banking is to D11, and how Wall Street banks won't be able to solve for the needs of the neighborhood, and Misha Steier from the SF Public Bank Coalition underlined the expansive movement for public banking organized in SF. by @yesonpropb

PODER SF (People Organizing to Demand Environmental & Economic Rights) Endorses Prop B for a Public Bank in San Francisco!

@poder.sf is a community organization that works with Latinx immigrants and other low-income families of color to fight for social, racial, economic, and environmental justice. From mortgage loans, to small business loans, we have seen time and time again that Wall Street banks have routinely and repeatedly denied people opportunity because of the color of their skin.

PODER knows that a public bank, with a public, independent board of directors will help these communities access the loans they need.
