Last year, PGC had the honor of catering for Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter and pianist @aliciakeys for her show at the Met. This year, Alicia personally requested our services again at the Wells Fargo Center, and we couldn’t be more humbled and excited for the opportunity. AND she gave us complimentary tickets to see what turned out to be an amazing show last night. The outfits gave what they were supposed to. The vocals sound like the album, and she’s even more beautiful in person. The entire production was so beautiful. Thank you again to Big Whack for the assist, and LC for working with us again to make it all happen. We truly appreciate y’all. 💕 taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by @yespgc

Yesterday @_skillababy was in town and @gilliedaking and @wallo267 bought him exactly where he wanted to go! Of course we had to make sure we took care of him. Thanks for stopping by. 💞 We open at noon today, and we have crabs on the menu starting at 1pm. taken in Pretty Girls Cook by @yespgc

If you know Philly food, then you know Pretty Girls Cook.

Had the chance to try Dominique Ryan’s cooking and it did not disappoint. The flavors. The presentation. The attention to detail. You can tell it’s made with pride.

This is what happens when talent meets passion.

Make sure y’all tap in with @yespgc for catering, private events, and what she’s building next.

Philly has some real gems and this is one of them!

After much prayer, reflection, and consideration, I have made the difficult decision to close Pretty Girls Cook indefinitely.

Our final day of service will be
Sunday, January 18, 2026.

This journey has been filled with love, growth, joy, and unforgettable memories. It was beautiful, it was fun, and it was real. Pretty Girls Cook has never been just a restaurant—it has been my family. From the guests who became regulars, to the staff who became chosen family, to every single person who ever worked here—thank you for trusting me enough to share in my dream. Creating, growing, laughing, and building together is something I will always cherish.

At this time, operating in a full-service capacity is no longer sustainable, and this decision was not made lightly.

Thank you for every plate shared, every late night, every conversation, every laugh, and every ounce of love and support.
This is not goodbye forever—just a pause. ❤️ taken in Pretty Girls Cook by @yespgc
