A story about unconditional love:
My mom found you through a newspaper clipping about 14 years ago - listed as $350. When I met you in person you were the tiniest amongst 3. You fit in the palm of my hand. You were so timid not like your siblings who wanted nothing but play and attention. My mom kept pushing me to choose the larger pups because you looked sick. I refused, I was stuck on YOU. I wanted you or nothing. We then tried to negotiate pricing and my mom didn’t have enough that day so we left. Two weeks later I walked into my room and found you in a tiny basket in the corner of my room. My life changed forever.

Teddy, my soulmate, my confidant, twin flame, my coworker, my alarm clock, my baby boy, my sidekick, my everything🤍
I wish time could stand still the moment before you took your last breath and that we could escape time together to a different reality 🫶🏽

Although, at some point I’ve tried to mentally prepare myself for this day, the hard truth is you can never prepare for loss this deep.

YOU were the light of my life, carried me through since I was 16, with no judgements. YOU were my angel from heaven, protecting me at all costs and I mean everything. YOU made my life whole. You were there through the love, the screams, the late night cries, the birthdays, the breakups, the travels, the new jobs, the funerals, the celebrations, OUR BUSINESS and every little thing in between. YOU slept next to me day in and day out letting me hold your paw whenever I couldn’t sleep or was scared. You were always the topic of conversation when we walked into the room; easing my social anxiety. You did so much for me, more than you’ll ever know. You saved my life - with your unconditional love. Thank you for really seeing me, you’re the only being who truly saw me for me.
Thank you is not enough. Thank you will never be enough.

my holy grail, these lashes are on in under 5 minutes and I’m set for the week!!
These pre-glued lashes are SO easy to apply, and you don’t need any extra glue. Mine usually last around 7 days when I’m careful washing around my eyes! You can add a sealant for extra hold, but I personally skip it.

Your next fall day trip from Toronto 🍂🤎 We spent an entire afternoon at Snyder’s Farm, and there’s SO much to do here.

Pumpkin picking, tractor rides, a giant tubing slide, feeding the farm animals, playgrounds, a bubble station… and cute photo spots everywhere. Then there’s poutine, hot dogs, a bakery AND a candy barn, so definitely come hungry 👀

Such a fun outing with the kids, but also a really cute fall date idea. It’s also home to Fear Farm, so you’ll spot a few spooky corners along the way 🕸️

A Halloween night out in Toronto to add to your October plans 🖤🔪👻 Legends of Horror at @casalomatoronto understood the assignment with the decor, and the midpoint DJ, bar and food stop? A whole little party.

My honest ratings:
👻 Scares: 5/10—I’m a horror girl, so keep that in mind 😂
🏰 Decor + vibes: 10/10
🎃 Overall experience: 8/10

📍 Casa Loma, 1 Austin Terrace, Toronto
🎟️ Standard admission: $45 online through Oct. 15; $55 online Oct. 16–31. Onsite tickets are $5 more. Check checkout for additional fees.
🕖 Standard hours start at 7 PM
🚶‍♀️ A 2 km trail through the gardens and tunnels
