Tanner Polednak, who also performs electronic music under the moniker VIDEL, is a sound producer, composer and classical musicl from Los Angeles. He is trained in the Hindustani classical musical tradition of the Maihar Gharana, specializing in the Sarod.

From the streets of LA to the heart of Bengal Tanner Polednak (VIDEL) has spent a beautiful tapestry of love, rhythm and healing all across Bangladesh.

Whether breathing soul into the strings of the Sarod in a misty blue morning near the bay of Bengal or unforgettable nights of diverse hypnotic depths on techno sets in post-modern Dhaka city, watching him was an absolute dream.

He played Sarod alongside prominent Sarod player Shiraz Ali Khan in Satori academy of arts, Dhaka.
He colleborated with talented Bengali folk musicians in jatra.

We cannot thank Tanner Polednak enough for supporting and valuing our minor communities, specially the women and children. For valuing Astha.

I urge all of Chittagong and all of Bangladesh to spread this word. 5 days to go. Come visit him, his advocacy for women, get lost and then found in despair, strength and empowerment before he leaves Bangladesh and Shantiniketan for good. Come feel his love with me.

From there, @dakiniverse guides participants through an immersive sound journey woven from obscure sounds, hypnotic rhythms, ambient textures, guided meditation, and gentle movement, creating a space where the boundaries between the physical and the unseen begin to dissolve.
