YONKERS WINS!!!

Thank you @lbaquero4ny of @nbcnewyork for interviewing @walkerkatori @evanbishopart & @haifabintkadi about the ROOTED: A Community Archive Project exhibited at @sarahlawrencecollege curated by Dr. Kishauna Soljour.

Sidebar/Back story - the original plan was to create 100 swatches. However, 9 months, 40+ events and 1,000 swatches later; Katori and I produced a body or art that unified the city of Yonkers.

Shout out to @manorbagels & @warburtongalerie that made the news feature as well as the plethora of participants that contributed to the LARGEST COMMUNITY ART PROJECT IN THE HISTORY OF YONKERS. That includes my artistic heroes NICER & BG183 of the legendary @tatscru who created a swatches for this project. You will see @nicertatscru swatch in the news clip.
