She is live! Absolutely beyond thrilled and humbled to be joining the wonderful team at Australian Dance Theatre. London will always hold space in my heart, but what a beautiful reason to be landing back on Australian land.

2024 was a year filled with new connections and reconnecting.

A tour to China reconnected me with my cultural lineage and land, which was so incredibly special. I reconnected to my teaching practice teaching at all new places across London, Australia, Scotland and Wales. And through auditions, projects, workshops and travel I connected with new amazing dancers sharing energy, ideas and space. Immense gratitude for the London and EU community for welcoming and inviting me in so warmly, it has been incredibly humbling and inspiring.

My time here has been short and sweet, but I will be back. London and its people hold a dear space in my heart.

New exciting adventures are peaking over the horizon. Watch this space ✨ taken in London by @yilinkong_

While we’re on the topic of Home, I just had the most spontaneous visit back home which was filled with lush dancing and reconnecting with the Perth community I was a part of before flying off to London almost 3 years ago. My heart was bursting with pride, admiration and joy to see the growth, richness and support that these dancers have fostered in the community under the challenging climate the arts have been existing in.

What a privilege to participate in and teach class for @enneagonmovement who are providing Perth dancers the space to practice and grow and to watch the premiere of 2 amazing works by my best buds at @offbasedance who have been working their butts off to get work up over the past 5 years

Earlier this year @tempertheatre took me on an amazing journey, performing their magical work HOME across 7 cities, performing 12 shows to more than 3000 audiences. It was so evident how much the core and story of this work touched and resonated with audiences and translated across cultures. It was an incredibly powerful experience to deepen my connection with my culture and identity, and beyond special to share with the Chinese audiences my relationship with my identity and home which now spans across multiple cultures and countries.

Thank you Temper Theatre for gifting me this experience.

She’s a little delayed, but a few months ago China unexpectedly captured my heart big time. The food, the culture, the people, the language, the fashion, the colours, the teas. Everything.

Incredibly grateful for @tempertheatre , for connecting me with this land and culture, taking us across the country to perform in epic venues with their beautiful work HOME. This experience has deeply shifted my perspective and connection to home, identity, culture and family✨
