It’s been a week but my heart still feels warm just thinking of the wonderful people we met last Thursday. A picture is better than a thousand words, but these pictures can’t begin to tell the conversations we had face-to-face with the awe-inspiring people we encountered. Thank you to everyone at E Pluribus Unum Project for inviting us. You have not only inspired us to continue plowing our field but to widen our vision. We’re grateful! Finally, a big shoutout to Lee & Low Books @leeandlow for providing the copies of Ten Blocks To The Big Wok. All recipients were overjoyed! 😄

A shoutout to Lee & Low Books @leeandlow and all the sponsors of the first ever ASIAN AMERICAN BOOKCON. Witnessing the enthusiasm at the event gave me bright hope for the diversity publishing, especially in the AAPI community. A big 'THANK YOU' also to Jenny Choy for leading the signing sessions and making it wonderful for all of us!

Come join us online or in-person at Princeton University Carl A Fields Center. So many great minds will be presenting their work in the field of diversity awareness and cross-culture bridge building. Cornelius and I will be sharing our journey in multicultural publishing and making historical as well as fictional stories into picture books for children. #diversitymatters by @yinghwahu

Look what I got in the mail! The Gale, a beautiful picture book and my latest translation work, is a moving tale adapted from the short story of the same name written by Nobel Prize laureate Mo Yan. So grateful for Sandra Proudman @sandraproudman and Marietta B Zacker @agentzacker at Gallt & Zacker @galltzacker for this great opportunity. The children in America will now have the privilege to enjoy Mo Yan’s enchanting storytelling.
