Capernaum Day Camp Galore!

Foam parties, bounce houses, zoo trips, color wars and silent disco just to name some of the many adventures taking place this summer. All over the world, our staff and leaders make these day camps happen so all our friends can experience the joy of camp. by @ylcapernaum

Summer camp is often where the adventure begins - high ropes, late-night laughs, unforgettable moments, and the first spark of discovering who Jesus is.

But faith isn’t meant to stay on the mountaintop.

@swtcylcapernaum recently gathered for a discipleship cabin trip to slow down, dig deeper, and learn what it means to abide in Jesus. Together, they explored how staying connected to Him helps the fruit of the Spirit grow in our lives.

The excitement of Young Life camp is incredible, but trips like this remind us that discipleship happens in the everyday moments: opening God’s Word together, praying, asking questions, encouraging one another, and growing in authentic community.

We’re grateful for a trip filled with laughter, meaningful conversations, and friends learning that the greatest adventure is walking with Jesus every day. by @ylcapernaum

☀️ CAMPING SEASON IS HERE! ☀️

The buses are rolling, the docks are full, the pool games are starting, and friendships are already growing.

Camping season is one of our favorite times of the year because it creates space for something powerful: every teen and young adult being fully included in the adventure. Whether it’s paddleboarding across the lake, conquering the ropes course, laughing through pool parties, celebrating at club, watching fireworks with friends, or getting covered in whipped cream during a camp game, these moments become memories that last a lifetime.

For our Capernaum friends, camp is more than a week away - it’s a place where barriers come down, gifts shine, and authentic belonging comes to life. It’s where teens with and without disabilities discover together that they are known, valued, and loved.

Here’s to new adventures, deeper friendships, unforgettable laughter, and life-changing encounters with Jesus.
