Very chalant e veramente grata.

a B, a C e a D (oramai inequivocabili).
Anche se non vi vedo vi ritrovo nascosti in ogni cosa che penso che dico e che faccio.

The Eternal Sleepover: Cohabitation and Dwelling in the Other Girl’s Life

Bi, I would say in Italian, life returned you to me like the dead bodies of soldiers after a war.
In the cold, feverish winters of our deepest wounds, we incubated together, waiting for the spring yet to come.
Your room is a nest of bare tenderness.
We gave each other the best versions of our disastrous adolescence, after we grew up.
Decorating the garden where we had breakfast in just our panties at the first hint of sun.

The Eternal Sleepover: Cohabitation and Dwelling in the Other Girl’s Life

B’s bed hid a world.
She claimed she could do anything lying down: under her sheets was everything she might need. Nail polish and fake lashes, the papers for her UK visas, spare watercolors painted when she couldn’t sleep. Diary pages and books borrowed from her mother’s enormous library, which I opened at random as if they were oracles capable of saving us.

We spent so much time trying to save us that we ended up losing each other.
Yet in the grace of those nights, it only felt like we had found ourselves.

The Eternal Sleepover: Cohabitation and Dwelling in the Other Girl’s Life

“I was sleeping over at Barbara’s when Berlusconi’s government fell. Her mother came into the room, eyes smiling, and told us the news. I was in my first year of high school, clinging to her legs as I did every Saturday night, romanticizing the idea that I would remember that moment forever.” by @ylebonnie
