Full marathon PB at 3:17!💜 Finally broke my 3-years streak of 3:30 hours!

2024 was all about breaking the 3:30 mark in the KL Standard Chartered Marathon race. This journey had been beautiful, but it wasn’t all joy and fun. It was filled with hard work, patience, sacrifice, struggle, pain (not just from the training but also those TMR sessions with the physio 😅) and moments of despair - but that’s what makes it beautiful & meaningful🌻. Along the way, I hit PBs in both my 10km and half marathon, something that I never thought possible after so many attempts. And now, with a full marathon PB under my belt, I couldn’t be happier, especially as I about to turn 42 soon✌🏻🌷.

I’m beyond grateful and blessed to be physically able to push through the long hard training and continue doing what I love - running 💜

After 3 years of not running FM, with 2 years disrupted by COVID-19 and 1 year on a much needed break, my goal was to maintain 3:30 timing. Unfortunately, I fell short by 2 minutes. Looks like I gotta try again 😅. I'm uncertain about how long I can sustain this effort, but as long as my body permits, I'll make the most of every opportunity 💕.

Standing on the KLSCM stage for the third time is a truly remarkable experience, definitely creating lasting life memories. Meeting both new and familiar running buddies adds to the joy 🥰. Now, I can finally enjoy that well-deserved glass of wine 🍷, having abstained from alcohol for an entire month! 😅

And…thank you to those who shared my podium pictures 💕 and well done to all that have crossed the finishing line today!

Furious run on Subang Jaya roads with @ngguoshen in the 361° Future Furious 2.

Second half was tough 🫠…A young boy cheered me on… then an uncle did the same, while GS kept pressing 😅 (which was much needed). Thank you 🫶😆.

We were taught proper breathing work to calm the body, then into infrared sauna & cold shower to help with muscle recovery. Left feeling fresh, recharged and oddly energised.

So energised I started goofing around.
