🎬 CONVERSATIONS WITH CANVASREBEL @canvasrebel Thank you to CanvasRebel for taking the time to share my filmmaking journey in this new interview. In the conversation, I reflect on my path as an independent filmmaker and festival director, the experiences that have shaped my work, and my latest feature film, Prayer Vincent Van Gogh. 🌻🎨 This film became a very special journey β€” traveling from Provence to Northern France, following in Vincent van Gogh’s footsteps and filming in places connected to his life and art. From Arles, Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence to Paris, Auvers-sur-Oise, and Mont Saint-Michel, every location became part of a larger journey about filmmaking, creativity, and connecting stories across borders. Many thanks to CanvasRebel for giving me the opportunity to share some of the experiences behind the work. πŸ™ 🎬 Read the full interview: https://canvasrebel.com/conversations-with-young-man-kang/ #CanvasRebel #YoungManKang #PrayerVincentVanGogh #VincentVanGogh #cavasrebel taken in Hollywood - Los Angeles by @ymkfilms

πŸ“° FEATURED IN INTERESANTE β€” TIJUANA VERTICAL FILM FESTIVAL 2026 πŸ‡²πŸ‡½ @somosinteresante Thank you to Interesante and writer Alejandro Mancilla for covering the Tijuana Vertical Film Festival 2026 and featuring Young Man Kang, Director of LA WEBFEST and Hollywood Series, in this special article. 🎬 The article covers my visit to Tijuana as part of the collaboration between LA WEBFEST and the Tijuana Vertical Film Festival. At CUT Universidad de Tijuana, I had the opportunity to give a talk titled: πŸŽ₯ β€œHow to Produce Vertical Cinema: Storytelling for the Mobile Screen” It was especially meaningful to meet students of communication and film and exchange ideas about how vertical storytelling is developing into its own cinematic language for a new generation of filmmakers. The article also highlights the growing connection between Tijuana and Los Angeles, including opportunities for filmmakers recognized at TJVEFF to participate in LA WEBFEST 2027. πŸ™ Thank you to the TJVEFF team, CUT Universidad de Tijuana, Interesante, and everyone who welcomed me during this memorable visit. πŸ“– Read the full article: https://interesante.com/interesante-medio-de-comunicacion-invitado-al-tijuana-vertical-film-festival/ #YoungManKang #Interesante #LAWEBFEST #HollywoodSeries #TijuanaVerticalFilmFestival taken in Tijuana, Baja California by @ymkfilms
