Incredibly excited to present Pozo de Agua by Le Motel, arriving September 15 on vinyl via @ctatsupurr. The vinyl is now available for pre-order on Bandcamp, and the first single, “Yakushima,” is out today. Dive into Le Motel’s transportive world of organic sound and understated emotion. Created across train rides, outdoor landscapes, and fleeting moments in transit, Pozo de Agua transforms passing thoughts, memories, and environmental sounds into a rich tapestry of ambient electronics, field recordings, and balearic downtempo. Ripples, water drops, wind, and movement become as essential as any instrument, drifting together in subtle polyrhythms and immersive textures that blur the line between composition and environment. Working at the crossroads of ambient, experimental electronic music, new age, and downtempo, Brussels-based producer and field recordist Le Motel continues his exploration of atmosphere and place through deeply immersive compositions that reward both careful listening and quiet reflection. I’m very happy to have been invited to contribute to the visual world of ARTS with this sleeve design. I really enjoyed the challenge of developing a single pattern that could adapt to different paper colours for each edition, and it was a pleasure creating it alongside @emmanuelarts by @ymy000000
