Long story short,

When I was 15, I was really into editing. The first software I learnt was After Effects, without even knowing it was mainly for VFX and not editing.

That’s when I met @aakash_poojith. He came to our school to shoot a teaser for our culturals and introduced me to Premiere Pro. He even installed a cracked version on the old soapbox laptop I had back then 😂.

We made a funny deal, if he ever made a film, I’d be the editor.

Cut to 22, and the same guy calls me saying, “It’s happening. Except this time, I was the writer of the film.” I was more than happy to finally complete that full circle with this project.

And now, at 23, I’ve made my debut as an editor with Ram and Leela.

This was such a fun team to work with from the start.

@dir_ramachandrran_kannan — our director and his nonchalant character, while the script says the complete opposite.

@mallikarjundop — more than a technician, I gained a brother through this project. Always rooting for you 🤞

@rio.raj — the main man,I had zero continuity issues while editing his scenes. Man is always on point with his acting and his dedication towards the project ❤️

@vartikajain24 — her first film, and that too in another language, but she still put in so much effort to make everything look seamless.

@menonankit — will never forget the Kochi sessions with you. Really love the way he approaches music.

@kowsi — did his magic with the grade 🤝

@viyaki_s — from music videos together to this, more to come🫂

And of course, the edit team:

@sai.muthuraman_ — by my side as always.

@sundars___ — came in as a spot editor and ended up becoming a big part of the edit. Now he’s the editor of one upcoming film.

@i.sethuraman — this guy’s dedication cannot be matched. Not even by me, love you❤️

@arun_uniq — The best in the trailer game.

And thanks to the producers @tridentartsoffl @sudnates77 ❤️

I heard this track a while back and it felt like it had something deeper behind it, like the feeling of someone you’ve lost but still can’t fully let go of. Maybe it’s a memory, a ghost, or just love that’s hard to move on from.I tried to turn that feeling into visuals,

Here’s a quick breakdown of my latest video 🙌

One of those random thoughts I decided to bring to life. I set up a green matte in a random spot with two friends, acted like I was floating and spinning through the sky, and then landing into a parallel world (kinda like Inception vibes). Took me a bit to get the edit clean in After Effects, but I’m really happy with how it turned out!

This video might look complex, but it’s actually quite simple to make.

The idea behind it was to represent how we’re constantly glued to our phones and how our attention span keeps shrinking every day.
With just After Effects’ built-in plugins and a little creativity, you can easily achieve the same visual.

The tutorial isn’t super in-depth on purpose—I want you to experiment, make mistakes, and learn through the process.
