16 mos together so far.

lots of training still needed.. super anxious boy… but you would be too if you lived in a shelter most of your life.

didn’t think this would happen but here we are. 🤍💟🤍💟

my sweet boy. rest in power

it is with much sadness that i have to share that
junior my cat passed away late last night. He was 5.

When I first adopted him from the San Diego Humane Society in a few months he became gravely ill. The emergency hospital said they could give him surgery but would risk dying during operation or bring him home after his 2 night / 3 day stay with the knowing he would die in 1-5 years.

My sweet boy gave 3 years to me. Although he was only 6 pounds, he had a heart bigger than a lion’s. He never complained. Was always independent and was with me as long he could.

Out of all my pets. Even Izzy. Junior turned out to be my ultimate favorite. This little guy stole my heart.

I told him a couple of days ago to look for Isabella. Because my girl bull mastiff would watch over him if he was to transition. To not be scared. He wouldn’t be alone.

I will miss staring at you while you slept. Your scratchy sounding meows. Your fast little runs up and down the stairs. Your special purrs.
You sleeping on my desk while I worked.

I will remember last week when you meowed in need and I scooped you up and and you nestled in my shoulder. I knew something was up because we never cuddle. *sigh
Oh my sweet boy. So strong.

I love you my Junie. I’ll see you on rainbow bridge. Thank you for letting me be part of your short life here.
Thank you for being so brave. You this little cat got me through ….

A special thanks to those who took care of him and loved him also.

It’s unfair. I wish our fur babies lived longer.

this is not what i imagined
it is a strange life for sure

per my mother…. together we can shift pain into wonder and love…..
but it is up to us to consciously & intentionally create this connection.

& of course I took the day off.

I got a new job!!! I have officially moved into the Corporate/Govt Travel world… It’s my 4th week. I’m still working from home. And they sure like to zoom a lot.
I will miss my old job tho and everybody I worked with.

it’s been awhile I know…
i have been on my own road with twists and turns… I know I haven’t seen a lot of you and the closest and long timers know I am struggling a bit…. I appreciate and apologize. It’s nice to say … I am okay. And with all of it I am humbled to feel truly alive ..Like fr fr.. I haven’t felt like this In such a long time and I am wondering if this is the happy I have been looking for ? Idk 🤷🏽‍♀️

I am happy because I have faith. And I have peeps I can count on and know that despite everything I think deep down they remember me… All of it. And it’s nice to feel that.
I think I have learned that the good and the bad… well it’s hella the same because you gotta live it … period. I’ve accepted that and with all the fuck ups and messed up stuff I find myself in sometimes .. damn I feel ALIVE.

I will get back to it. Meaning put it all together again. And I know I will pay dividends and handout blessings…. Because I am truly blessed and have been and it’s only wise to pass it… again and again.

My creativity has taken a side street. I have something in the works that I didn’t know I would stumble upon and creating this made one hundred percent sense to me and flowed naturally.. it felt right.

I am almost finished. Fine tuning if you will… and I am proud of myself. Yay me. And I am hoping hoping some of you will dig it.
