10 years with my person. i'd say i can't believe its been this long but i'd be lying. i've known for a long time that i've wanted to spend every single moment i have with bree. we've lived through and seen so much together. she's been my safe space, my protector, my soft blanket when i need comfort, my tree when i need grounding and cover, my inspiration, and beyond everything my partner. i know what love is and how beautiful the experience is. i'm beyond lucky and damn do i know it. cheers to 10 years🎉 oh and we got engaged this month. yes the last picture is the ring (very on brand for us). cheers to forever💕 by @yo_alexbass

I try to count my blessings everyday and be mindful of what I have and the truth that I try to live, but one thing that's always on my mind is how lucky and priviledged I am to be with and to love and be loved by this beautiful soul I have the honor to call my partner. I'd like to share some parts of her and some parts of us that I'm beyond grateful for. Bree The woman of my dreams, and the woman I give my life to. She is the beauty I see in everything, she is the very breath of life in my lungs, the metronome of my heart, and the vitality of my soul's existance. She is the very essence that completes me. The things I feel for her, and for us, is a result of the hard work we've put into ourselves and each other. The work that is put into passion like an artist's life work on their masterpiece. The toil and tenacity we've committed to our relationship has made seeds bloom into bright and colorful flowers in the soil. She is more than a lover to me. She is the hand that holds me into the darkness, the blanket that keeps me warm in the cold, the companion that dusts me off and picks me up off the ground, and the perfect weight that keeps my head in the clouds but keeps me grounded. The one that reminds me who I am, and who I want to be. So here's to you and to us, my love. For giving me the honor to be called yours for these 8 years that I would trade nothing for. Thank you for giving me the experience of our beautiful life and our beautiful love we have. Happy Anniversary baby, with infinite lifetimes to become.💘 by @yo_alexbass
"my old man picked me up too many times to count, dust me off, said "its not over yet. and i know better than anyone yelling at the rain, won't get you anything but wet"" I had to say goodbye to my best friend in this life yesterday. He fought so hard for me, my love, and our little family. He was so loved by us, family, and friends. He was and will forever be our best boy. I'm beyond grateful I got to share 14 years full of unconditional and pure love with him. That's what he was still is and forever will be. I've never met anything or anyone else with such a big heart as him. Countless days of him picking me up, head bumping me when I've cried, his purrs calming me down with love, being there through everything. There's not enough words to describe how much we love and miss him so dearly. Everyday I've looked up to my little guy, rolling with the medical punches and jabs and still fighting so hard for our family. Still so full of so much love. if the word had any meaning its him and what he always gave us. Pure and unconditional love. I didn't know how blessed I was the day we got him, and I had no idea the bond we would form would get me through every second of every day. One day he had a medical issue that I wasn't sure if he'd make it through, and I vividly remember sitting up and talking with him, giving him pets to tell him to keep fighting. My probably 14 or 15 year old self tried to stay awake all night to make sure he'd make it but ended up falling asleep. That morning when I woke up had to be one of the best mornings ever. Seeing him there sleeping peaceful right next to me. From then on it was unspoken, but we kept each other fighting. Sitting so properly with his chest fluffed out and his beautiful eyes looking up at us. That's how we will always remember and cherish the time we had with him. Handsome man, Mr. Bubs, bubbers, sweet boy, Mr. Fluffy, my boyfriend, lover boy, kaui-ui boy, Mr. Bubushkas, proper, the boy, my little tiger, my baby boy, the brown one, buddy, lil chihuahua, rat boy, gremlin, big o baby, pretty boy, old man, stoner cat, bubbas, scraggy boy, lil lion, my best bud, ui-ui, and lastly the best boy. I can't wait to see you again. by @yo_alexbass
