Someone very close to me told me the other day that “I’m a light in this world, and too many touches with darkness will eventually start to dim my shine.”

The last week, month, year, decade, lifetime has been pretty rocky for me. Little do most know because…well I’m a Gangster with RBF who hides it well. But those who really know me, know what I’ve been through in the last 365 days especially. I decided to take a trip to TULUM and and dig a little deeper. So far, underneath what’s been covering the better parts of me was still the same girl I’ve built. She/me is still resilient and still humble. She still gives grace to people who probably don’t deserve it. She still wishes on stars and loves the jungle. She still finds solitude in the ocean. Being here is the moment of peace I’ve been searching for 💯 But the real test will be when I get home- to bring all my sharpened tools back and build walls where they need to be built, set boundaries like a m’fer all while remembering that the light people see in me, helps guide others in dark times. I will continue being unapologetically me, because authenticity is all we have. Being real with yourself and others is theee hardest thing to do- but like @nike says

Team:

a small group of interdependent people who work together in a coordinated effort to achieve a shared goal or common objective, holding themselves mutually accountable for the results.

Today I witnessed work ethic at its maximum. I watched every team member step up to the plate and SWING. At the end of the day, It’s your team who reminds you to WIN THE DAY.

I’m just a small part of the puzzle, but I’m so excited for the future of @deltamfggroup 💼🎒👜🛍️

Happy Birthday Lisa🤍

You were the baby when I came to Bali. The youngest of the kids at the orphanage. Yet some how, one of the most mighty little ladies Id ever met. Watching you grow up, and getting to be a part of your life is a blessing. YOU ARE A BLESSING. I love you so much honey bee. Keep buzzing keep growing strong. But to me, you’ll always be my little girl. Even in 20 years. 🤍 I miss you, but I’ll see you soon👀

9/11

Where were you?

Every trip to NYC means stopping at ground zero. And EVERY SINGLE TIME, I silently weep watching the water fall.

I wish the younger generation could go back in time and experience the day after 9/11. You had to be there to understand how unified this country was. In the midst of rubble, we became a mountain. Every race,religion, gender and age came together in solidarity. That day still rings loudly for me, you could feel it in your core. All that is gone now- but when we say “never forget” just don’t leave out the day after either.
