We believe the body, breath, and stillness were made by God and belong to Him, and every one of them can be reclaimed for His glory.

Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. John 1:3

God created the body, He made the breath in your lungs, the ruach He gave you.

He also made the stillness where you meet Him in prayer, long before anyone else claimed it.

This is the invitation YogaFaith offers every believer who loves yoga and has wrestled with its roots. We’re inviting you to bring everything to the foot of the cross and offer it to the Lord, making your practice communion.

Since 2013, YogaFaith has trained and equipped Christian yoga teachers. We are the only Christian school accredited with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT), and more than 3,000 graduates now steward this practice for His glory.

When your heart is ready to answer that invitation, our trainings and events are waiting for you.

We believe the body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and every posture, every breath, and every moment of stillness can be offered to the Lord as worship.

“Have you forgotten that your body is now the sacred temple of the Spirit of Holiness, who lives in you? You don’t belong to yourself any longer, for the gift of God, the Holy Spirit, lives inside your sanctuary. You were God’s expensive purchase, paid for with tears of blood, so by all means, then, use your body to bring glory to God!”
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 TPT

Stretching Your Faith: Practicing Postures of Prayer to Create Peace, Balance and Freedom is for the Christian woman who loves her mat and has carried a quiet conflict about whether her practice can belong to Jesus. Scripture settles it. He calls us to love Him with all of who we are, and that includes the body He fearfully and wonderfully made.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.”
Mark 12:30 NIV

In these pages, YogaFaith founder and certified yoga therapist Michelle Thielen walks you through postures of prayer anchored in the Word, so your practice becomes embodied worship on and off the mat. Three class videos come with the book so you can practice alongside it, and it doubles as a guide for teachers in training.

Your copy is waiting through the link in bio, wherever books are sold and check out the SIGNED COPY link / shop at yogafaith.org - makes a perfect gift (only 44 left) or Amazon of course: https://link.amazon/B01zvpCTS

Take your next step into worship that involves ALL of you.

This week our YogaFaith Yoga Therapy cohort is teaching their final practicum, and watching them serve has been one of the sweetest gifts of our year. These soon to be yoga therapists have given hundreds of hours to learning how to sit with people in their pain, and now they are doing it with tenderness and skill, every session offered to the Lord.

We praise God every day that we get to do this close, careful work in people’s lives. Jesus heals, and He came “to bind up the brokenhearted” (Isaiah 61:1 NIV). Our part is to train and equip therapists who care for the whole person, the way Scripture calls us to love Him, “with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength” (Mark 12:30 NIV).

To our cohort, we are cheering you on through every session this week, and the people you will serve for years to come are going to be so blessed by your yes.

It’s a honor and privilege to walk alongside of each of you.

The Lord your God is with you,
the Mighty Warrior who saves.
He will take great delight in you;
in his love he will no longer rebuke you,
but will rejoice over you with singing.”

Teacher training was never only for teachers. A Miracle Immersion is where you find freedom and deliverance through Christ, and our final immersion of 2026 begins this Friday, October 9.

We believe the Lord is worthy of all of you. So many who love this practice hold back from training because they cannot picture themselves at the front of a room. Teaching is just one fruit of this training, but there are many!

Over five days, you will study why the body, breath, and stillness belong to the Lord, and you will carry that conviction into every practice, every conversation and every quiet morning with Him.

You will learn to steward a body fearfully and wonderfully made, and to offer your breath back to the One who gave it.

One of our students said it simply: “I have attended multiple trainings with YogaFaith and each time I grow even closer to Jesus!” Loreen Roney, Florida.

This Miracle Immersion is designed for beginners and experienced practitioners alike, so you can come exactly as you are.

And if the Lord opens the door for you to lead, you will already be empowered and equipped.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” Mark 12:30

This is the last immersion of the year, October 9–13 for 164 days!!
