In the last photo, I could get myself into Kapotasana — but I used to compress my lower back far too much, causing pain I thought was “normal.” Now, learning the correct alignment and opening what was stuck — the pelvis, thoracic spine — I find the shape may look less “deep,” but the experience feels far deeper: expansive, safe, and transformative. 🕊️ As a teacher, it’s always a gift to return to the student role. 🙏✨ While studying more in Iyengar-style yoga, I’m learning so much more about the alignment in asana. A true asana is not just a “pose” or a shape we create for a moment — It’s when the organs are gently stimulated and the various systems of the body — digestive, reproductive, circulatory — are regenerated through the right amount of tension and compression created by proper alignment. It’s when the subtle energy channels of the body (nadis) open, allowing the release of emotions and memories that have accumulated for years in our tissues. 🌬️ It’s when the breath begins to move in a harmonious flow, and prana — our life force — becomes balanced and steady. ✨ by @yogawithsati
There is something special that happens when we come together in community for yoga — not to perform, not to perfect, but simply to practice. When our hearts are sincere and open, when we arrive with humility and a willingness to receive, Yoga reveals a magic that can’t be forced. A feeling of being held — by the practice, by nature, and by each other. 🤍 May our practice continue to bring us home — alone, and together. by @yogawithsati
As the season changes — and now being in another country — I find myself reflecting on the summer. One of the most special moments for me was sharing connection and community through what I believe is one of the most precious gifts on Earth — Yoga ✨ 🌞 We woke at dawn, honouring the Sun — a practice that goes back more than 3,000 years. 🧘‍♂️ We practised asana, meditated, sang, laughed, and cried as we opened up & shared from our hearts.. ✍️ We explored Svadhyaya — self-study — speaking openly about our struggles, aspirations & frustrations.. We reflected on Ahimsa — being kinder to ourselves and others — because no one really knows what the other is going through.. And Satya — honesty & authenticity — in how we live.. I’m so grateful for these moments shared with the most beautiful souls — who came with such open hearts, open minds, and wonderful energy And to my teacher, who brought me closer to what Yoga truly is @rishikesh_adiyogi 💕I can’t wait to share many more moments like this. by @yogawithsati

For Yoga & Philosophy lovers ✨🧘🏽‍♀️ Ever wondered why some days feel light and clear while others feel heavy or restless? In yoga philosophy, these fluctuations can be explained by the three gunas—the 3 energies shaping our mind, body, emotions and environment. Join me for a discussion on this ancient concept, how these 3 “qualities” of nature show up in daily life, and how to find balance. Expect conversation, reflection, and sharing, plus a few yogic practices to embody what we explore. 📍Espai Om , Russafa 📆 Sat 1st March | 3:00 - 5:15pm 🎟️ Early Bird €16 (before Feb 22) | Standard €21 ✨ For Full Info & to Reserve link in bio💕 by @yogawithsati
India had the natural rhythm of how life is meant to be, waking up before sunrise, winding down at sunset.. and being in (CLOSE) contact with different species (every day), where we can actually see, hear, (maybe even cuddle ) the furry friends we share this home with.. You cant help but feel the interconnectedness of all things - and feel that life is not meant to be so clinically clean, polished and perfect .. - - Nature is chaos - - Life is (at times) chaos - - - - India (for the most part) is chaos - - but that’s where you find *the most beauty* and probably have more of the fun ❤️ *Jai Bharat Ma* (with gratitude to Mother India) 🇮🇳 by @yogawithsati

Didn’t turn out to be a prince in the end 😅 Kambo is one of natures powerful immunity boosters & has been used for **centuries** by the indigenous.. Has been shown to help prevent / cure - infections and virus’ including HIV, herpes and candida.. Por que lo llaman “medicina alternativa” cuando es la medicina original ? Mil gracias por la medicina @lalunadelamazonas @healsweden #naturalmedicine #kambo #plantmedicine #energyhealing #amazonia #savetheplanet by @yogawithsati
