My most special cake ever 🧘🏻‍♀️
Baked by one of my most adored student, she’s among the ones from whom I began teaching yoga 🌺
Gave me the confidence that I’ve chosen the right path 🤗 by @yogawithvibs

This was my super initial stage when I just started practicing handstands by myself… the feeling of achievement back then when I just began was something ♥️ by @yogawithvibs

One of my first shoots, when I started teaching 10 years ago… feels like yesterday that I just happen to get a student and taught just for fun as a pass time, little did I know then that I’ll take it as my life’s goal. I see the posture today and I feel like fixing my own alignment hahaha. But it’s still one of my beautiful capture. by @yogawithvibs

Pada Angushthasana (tiptoe pose)

Balancing asanas develop the functions of the cerebellum, the brain centre that controls how the body works in motion. The focus required to perform these asanas with steadiness develops concentration and balance at the emotional, mental and psychic levels.

Come practice with me 🤙🏼
We’ll make balancing asanas v breezy 🌊

I believe some meditation and breath-work a day keeps all problems away 😛 hahaha; it’s true. It’s like a magic wand and does wonders, things just flow and you flow, it does make me flow easily 🌊🌈

Every morning I’ve breath-work sessions, just for 20mins, you can attend that from anywhere because it’s online and everyone can do it. The simplest and most effective thing that you can do for your mind and body is some Pranayama ! Come, lets breathe together 💕

Always up for soaking in some beautiful sun ☀️ water 🌊 breeze, energy. Sucker for good energy. by @yogawithvibs

One of my exhilarating experiences. I did it only because I know I wouldn’t do it. It was scary, I remember even while walking on it, it seemed the last thing I’ll be doing. I was proud of myself after coming out alive. At the same time it has been such a ‘Twilight moment’… walking between the trees, and the tall trees. I love nature. I love being in nature. When there is nature with me, trees and greenery around me, I really don’t care about anything else, I’m the happiest being in the trees. by @yogawithvibs

I’ve been meditating since the age of 19, I feel blessed that meditation happened to me at a slightly earlier age. It has made me who I am today. It’s this that keeps me going sanely, the world is a crazy place and to survive in it does get sometimes difficult, meditation has been my best friend, when everything feels like a lost cause meditation has helps me to get out of it stronger. Having said this, meditation is not an easy process and it doesn’t happen in one day, it’s consistent practice, daily diligence, commitment and keeping the strength to keep going even when it’s feeling moot.

Many of my students with keeping at it are now regular meditators, happens to them easily.
If it’s something you truly wish to happen to you, come practice with me, with love and patience and together we’ll make the magic happen 🪄 by @yogawithvibs

Chakrasna

It is a Backward bending asanas are postures which turn the body out to face the world. They are stimulating and extroverting. Because they expand the chest and encourage inhalation, they are associated with the attitude of embracing life. They are also dynamic postures which move counter to gravity and, therefore, require strength and energy to perform. by @yogawithvibs

The most important part of pranayama is actually kumbhaka or breath retention. However, in order to perform kumbhaka successfully, there must be a gradual development of control over the function of respiration. Therefore, in the pranayama practices more emphasis is given to inhalation and exhalation at the beginning, in order to strengthen the lungs and balance the nervous and pranic systems in preparation for the practice of kumbhaka. by @yogawithvibs
