No amount of 401Ks or multi-six-figure stability could stop my body from keeping score.

Growing up between Korea and Palo Alto, I followed a specific definition of success. But trying to fit myself into someone else’s mold eventually caught up to me - literally through stress-induced eczema and insomnia.

Moving to Jeju Island for 4 months gave me a wake up call. I realized I couldn’t go back to my old life, at least not without trying something else first. I re-discovered the spark I had lost when I came across gelato-thick yogurt texture in Korea and decided I would combine it with traditional Korean flavors to honor my heritage and the 80 year old Korean grandma in me that likes magnolia berry, mugwort, and jujubes.

Trading golden handcuffs for 10-hour kitchen shifts and heavy lifting hasn’t been easy but I’ve never felt more aligned.

I went crazy experimenting with yogurt flavors last month and now I have YOGURT FLIGHTS for October with:

When you start a business, everyone has an opinion. Early on, my instinct was to build a wall. Don’t be too friendly, be a little guarded.

But being on defense mode is not only exhausting, it keeps out the people and opportunities that can actually help you.

I had to learn the difference between putting up armor and setting boundaries when people project their own insecurities onto you.

Chuseok special flavor including a yogurt flight that captures the essence of Korean cuisine:

🍋 Yuzu with jujubes (crispy red dates)
🍠 Sweet cinnamon-ginger with sweet potato
