Happy International Women’s Day! The theme for IWD 2026 is “Give to Gain,” and it has me reflecting deeply on the women in my life.

When I think about my mom, I think about someone who has been giving to me my whole life while expecting nothing in return. She has always reminded me that I can do anything I put my mind to, and I have so many memories of her pushing me in a gentle, supportive way throughout the years. Although her memory isn’t as good as it used to be, she remains my biggest cheerleader. So much of who I am is because of her, and I am filled with gratitude and love for all she continues to do for me.

I am now passing on so much of what she has given me to my three beautiful daughters, as well as to the many other women I lead, sponsor, and mentor. by @yolivzig

Our employees are the foundation of our success, consistently demonstrating the highest levels of professionalism and dedication to our customers. They fully grasp the critical importance of keeping our community connected. It is their tireless work—designing, building, operating, and maintaining our network every day—that makes everything possible. Today, we want to pause and sincerely recognize and appreciate every single thing they do.

After spending the day with the team yesterday, I am filled with immense pride. Happy Employee Appreciation Day, and a profound thank you to our Fiber Engineer and Operations teams for your exceptional hard work. by @yolivzig

The opening of Verizon's Innovation Learning Lab at Bronx Writing Academy, the 6th in NYC and the 183rd across the U.S., was an opportunity to showcase our investment in digital inclusion to parents, teachers, administrative staff, students, media, content creators, and elected officials, reinforcing our impact and generating authentic, third-party advocacy through the voices of educators and community leaders who validate and amplify our work.

I had the privilege of interacting and speaking with the next generation of creators, problem-solvers, and innovators! Our future is BRIGHT! Thank you @jillhardyheath & @heartofamerica for transforming this amazing space and for the partnership. Proud to be a member of your board of directors!

After the official remarks, students took center stage showcasing how they are already comfortable using high-tech equipment like 3D printers, VR headsets and robotics. Special Shoutout to our Verizon Corporate Social Responsibility team for delivering technology solutions to communities across America. #Innovation #FutureReady #Verizon #Education #Technology by @yolivzig

🌟 Earlier this week, I had the privilege of hosting a Virtual ImPACTful Conversation Discussion focused on supporting working parents. The discussion centered on the resources available and how we can continue to create a culture that helps our colleagues balance the responsibilities of home and work.

It was inspiring to hear the experiences shared and the ideas raised on how we can strengthen our support systems. Together, we’re committed to building an environment where every parent feels empowered to thrive both personally and professionally. 💼🏡✨
