Saturday July 26 was the 6 month mark to the day I was forced to stop. Literally STOP. I thought about many things while I laid in the hospital bed, maybe people were thinking about what I couldn’t do or what I shouldn’t do, I knew what I would do. I would be thankful for every moment, I would be thankful for every step, I would be thankful to those that show me love. It’s MY BIRTHDAY.

Have to say I’m thankful to be here and at work today. Extremely thankful for my wife always in my corner through thick and thin. Sometimes during adversity you really find out who’s really there for you. I’ve never had a doubt about myself, but with the challenge of overcoming a stroke I was extra dependent on family and friends for support. To those that were there physically and those that were there with words of encouragement. Thank you. The comeback is real. by @yongejaffy
