🦋 What looks like chaos around me relies on absolute stillness inside to become a conduit for creativity. My studio has always been wherever I am, not a dedicated room. An artist who needs silence and no distractions wouldn’t have made it through toddlers, teens, kittens, clutter, nature’s derailments (I’m looking at you, wind!), or the first live event. 🦋 Most people wait for permission or some ideal moment when they’ll finally feel ready. Here’s the happy truth: you don’t need the perfect studio, the right supplies, or anyone’s permission. You just need to begin. Last year I started painting in public. At fundraisers, galas & weddings. On rooftops, beaches & stages. I set up wherever the moment called me.
