As a firm believer in storytelling, Dan’s sets are filled with suspense and payoff, darkness and light, with various sonic elements, such as minimal, industrial, tribal, sci-fi and psychedelic. For him, a DJ set is an ever-changing journey that transports people from one place to another. To express his versatile style and multifaceted soundscapes, he doesn’t confine himself in any particular genre and era. Yet, he always finds himself embracing those tunes and beats that have a cinematic and cosmic tone. Dan-neo has played at different venues and festivals in Hong Kong, such as, Acadana. * Club, Oma Social Room, Ping Pong, Pitch, Clockenflap and Shi Fu Miz. Dan-neo’s carefully curated sets also brings him to other respected venues across the globe, such as, Oil Club in Shenzhen, Pistil in Seoul, Noor | Electro in Moscow, Ved Siden Af in Copenhagen. Dan-neo is also a resident of the techno collective cipher. For more info @kishi.japan taken in THE CASTLE by @yorkseijo

Hong Kong artist Finsent C crafts DJ sets as fluid, hypnotic journeys into the deeper shades of techno. His musical path began behind the drum kit, a foundation that informs the rhythmic, immersive quality of his performances today. He perceives a set as a shared, ritualistic experience-one that requires patience and connection to unfold. This philosophy is the core of his curated music project, Cipher, an outlet dedicated to crafting otherworldly sonic environments and showcasing the meditative side of electronic music. A staple of his hometown’s scene, Finsent has also carried his signature kinetic groove across the region, with notable appearances in clubs and venues throughout East Asia, steadily propagating deep, undulating soundwaves throughout the region’s underground circuit. For more info @kishi.japan taken in THE CASTLE by @yorkseijo

KISHI returns to THE CASTLE on October 3, bringing together artists from Berlin, Rome, Kobe and Osaka for a night moving through hypnotic, psychedelic and rhythm-driven electronic music. Berlin-based **Hypnotic Black Magic***, founder of Art Bei Ton, explores the deeper end of hypnotic techno - atmospheric, ritualistic and driven by percussion. From Rome, **A-Tweed** takes a more unpredictable route through acid-soaked electronics, tribal rhythms, broken beats, cosmic textures and slow psychedelic grooves. Joining them is a selection of artists from the local Kobe and Osaka scene: BUG (Organizer of NEURAL), Nilei (from artribe), Sappy and Taiske; each bringing their own direction to the night. Different cities, different sounds, connected through rhythm, repetition and a shared language of music. KISHI is a meeting point - between visiting artists and the local scene, different musical cultures and the people who gather around them.
