The friend who always says "one more take." Films the sunset instead of watching it. Has 400 clips and zero edits.
Tag them. They need this trip. 🎬

Cinematic isn't the camera. It's 4 decisions:
1. Shoot at 24 or 25 fps
2. Shutter at double your frame rate (1/50 at 25 fps)
3. Move slowly, or don't move at all
4. Shoot every action wide, medium and close
Save it and try it this week. 🎥

Same images. Two different openings.

A: “I arrived in Morocco.”
B: “Nobody told me Morocco would sound like this.”

One sentence changes everything. That’s what a hook does: it opens a question your viewer needs answered, so they keep watching.

Comment A or B and tell me which one made you stay 👇

Unpopular opinion: the most beautiful place you visit is rarely your best story.

Beautiful is easy. Thousands of people film the same sunset from the same viewpoint every day. What makes a travel story yours is what happened to you there: the wrong bus, the stranger who invited you in, the moment you were nervous. The scenery is the background. You are the story.

Agree or disagree? I want to read your side in the comments.

Most travel videos are a series of postcards: wide, wide, wide. In TV, this is the first thing you learn: a wide shows where you are, a close-up shows how it feels.

The simple sequence I use everywhere: one wide, two details (hands, textures, faces, steam, sand) and one shot of your reaction. Wide, detail, detail, you. Four shots, and suddenly you’re telling a story instead of showing a place.

What do you film more: wides or details? Save this before your next trip.

Some places don't need filters. They just need you to look twice.
Look for the frame inside the frame.

Once you see them, you can't unsee them.
Rule of thirds · leading lines · framing · negative space.
Which one do you use the most? 👇

1. Clean the lens. Your pocket is not a lens cap.
2. Find the light. Know where it comes from before you frame.
3. Get closer. Closer than feels comfortable.
Save this for your next trip. 📌

Backlight, hard sun... would you shoot it like this, or come back at golden hour?
