Update — this event is full but there is a waitlist in case there are cancellations or we can organize a second take on this event soon. Thanks for all of the interest!

October 1 — there are maybe 8 slots left for our first learn and bake event at the new bakery. Come hear about a perennial wheatgrass with big environmental ambitions from an expert, Korede Olugbenle, of @msu.extension — we’ll mill some fresh flour for you to take home, bake some little Kernza stalk breads, get outside to the field, plenty of snacks, a little zine cookbook by @yost_posts that looks phenomenal—all the stops pulled for you to have some fun.

It’s free thanks to support from Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development’s Regenerative Agriculture program and @jccdmi to help grow our Southern Michigan Small Grain Pilot Network.
