heaven has gained the most beautiful person with a soul, smile, & heart like no other. I remember meeting you in 4th period Chemistry cause I complimented your hair & we became real life SISTERS & that was how you introduced me to everyone.. I’ve never wanted to be like anybody in my life, but I always emulated you from your style , how you carried yourself, the kind words you spoke into ppl.. you will always be the definition of a GIRLS GIRL💕 I am so heartbroken your physical being will no longer walk this earth… but your soul & the words you spoke into me will remain! Dear SSG Warren,

I wish you could see where we are now.

I wish I could sit beside you for a moment and tell you that every long day, every difficult season, every sacrifice, and every moment you questioned whether you were truly capable of more was worth it.

So, before anything else, thank you.

Thank you to the woman who kept going.

When people told you that you couldn’t, wouldn’t, or weren’t enough, you could have believed them. Instead, proving yourself right became more important than proving them wrong.

When giving up would have been easier, you kept going.

You continued to show up. You continued to learn. You continued to grow. And even when you couldn’t see exactly how it would all come together, you kept believing that everything you were working toward would eventually meet you on the other side of the sacrifice.

And it did.

Look at us now.

Sergeant First Class Warren.

That title carries so much more than three letters on a rank insignia. It carries the weight of every version of you that came before it.

SSG Warren, you didn’t always have the answers. You didn’t always feel confident. You didn’t always know what the next step would be. But you kept taking the next step anyway.

You learned how to lead while still learning yourself.

You learned how to stand tall while carrying things nobody else could see.

You learned that leadership isn’t about knowing everything—it’s about being willing to learn, willing to grow, willing to take responsibility, and willing to keep showing up for the people who depend on you.This promotion is not simply a reflection of where I am going.

It is a reflection of everywhere I have been.

Every challenge.
Every sacrifice.
Every lesson.
Every setback.
Every person who poured into me.
Every opportunity I fought for.
Every door I had to knock on twice.
Every moment I chose not to quit.

All of it led me here.

So, SSG Warren, thank you for carrying us this far.
