My mother taught me three things: Respect ; Knowledge ; search for knowledge ; It’s an eternal journey ; and she taught me to not be quiet. If there’s something on my mind to speak it ; but also to listen. She told me ; that God gave me two ears to listen and one mouth to speak. That’s where the knowledge comes from ; listening. 5 years ago today we lost diego maradona 🐐

Maradona wasn’t just a football player he was a force of nature. born in a poor neighborhood in buenos aires in 1960, he rose from nothing to become one of the greatest athletes the world has ever seen. every time he touched the ball, it felt like the game stopped and gravity shifted around him.

His peak came at the 1986 world cup, where he delivered one of the most iconic performances in sports history. in the same match against england, he scored the infamous “hand of god” goal and then, minutes later, the “goal of the century,” weaving past half the team like it was effortless. he carried argentina to the trophy almost single-handedly a run that turned him into a myth.

But maradona’s story wasn’t perfect ,fame, pressure, and addiction followed him everywhere. His life outside the pitch was messy and human in every way, yet even through the chaos, his talent never stopped shining... by @young.farmer_10
